Elmore Receives Top Rating

We are pleased to announce that Douglas J. Elmore received an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Martindale-Hubbell is the facilitator of a peer review process that rates lawyers. A Martindale-Hubbell rating reflects the confidential opinions of members of the Bar and the Judiciary as to an attorney’s legal ability and general ethical standards. An AV Preeminent Rating is the highest rating that an attorney can receive.

Mr. Elmore concentrates his practice in the areas of wills, trusts, and estates, and federal taxation. He assists clients with the design and implementation of personalized estate plans that seek to balance the interplay of relevant tax and non-tax considerations. He employs both traditional and advanced planning techniques, and has experience modifying irrevocable trusts to accommodate changing family dynamics and tax objectives, while preserving the grantor’s original intentions. He also represents individual and institutional fiduciaries in connection with the administration of a decedent’s estate plan.

Mr. Elmore received his B.S. and M.S. in Accounting, both cum laude, from the University of Florida. He also received his J.D., cum laude, and LL.M in Taxation from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law.
