Williams Parker Hosts Americas Regional Meeting for the International Alliance of Law Firms

December 18, 2015

Williams Parker hosted the International Alliance of Law Firms this past weekend for the organization’s Americas Regional Meeting. The meeting and organization-related events spanned three days and drew participants from Israel, Argentina, Canada, Mexico, and cities across the United States.

“We were pleased to host this meeting of the minds,” stated Ric Gregoria, president of Williams Parker. “As the only firm representing Florida in the International Alliance of Law Firms, we wanted to be sure that our international and American guests alike experienced the very best of our town. Sarasota is an ideal destination for business and relaxation, with world-class commerce and culture.”

Williams Parker hosted the Alliance on Thursday evening with a cocktail reception and dinner at the firm. Friday’s all-day meeting, held at The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota, consisted of the organization’s business meetings and an engaging speaking panel, featuring Williams Parker’s very own Chief Operating Officer, Bradley Robbins. The visiting attorneys spent all of Saturday taking in the culture of Sarasota on Mote Marine’s Eco-Boat Tour and golfing at The Ritz-Carlton Members Club. All were impressed by the hospitality, beauty, and charm of Sarasota.

“As the Alliance continues to grow and expand its membership around the globe, we are confident that Sarasota will become an even more sought after location for international business and tourism,” stated Michael Wilson, shareholder at Williams Parker and global liaison at the firm for the IALF. “We look forward to attending the organization’s annual meeting in Shanghai next year, and anticipate hosting more Alliance events in the future.”
