Polk Elected to Judicial Nominating Commission

We are pleased to announce that Williams Parker attorney Bonnie L. Polk was recently elected Vice Chair of the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Twelfth Circuit. The nominating commission selects and nominates to the Governor candidates most qualified to fill a judicial vacancy in the Twelfth Circuit, which includes Sarasota, Manatee and DeSoto counties.

Ms. Polk practices primarily in the firm’s litigation section, representing clients involved in probate and trust disputes, and real estate and corporate disputes. She also represents financial services industry clients in stored value card regulation, licensing and contract negotiations.

Ms. Polk attended Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, where she graduated summa cum laude earning a B.S. in Business Administration. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Stetson University School of Law, St. Petersburg, Florida.
